Reassurance through every stage: Baby scans at Yorkshire Baby Scan
When you’re expecting, reassurance matters. At Yorkshire Baby Scan, families are offered clear, medically led insight into their baby’s development. Led by Consultant Obstetrician Dr Jacqueline Tang and supported by a team of highly experienced NHS-trained sonographers, the clinic provides private ultrasound scans in a calm, professional setting.
Expert-led scanning services
Every scan at Yorkshire Baby Scan is performed by a qualified sonographer or doctor with a background in obstetrics. The team understands how important these moments are, not only clinically, but emotionally. Appointments are structured to allow time for discussion, questions and careful review, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.
What scan options are available?
Yorkshire Baby Scan offers a wide range of scan packages, tailored to each stage of pregnancy:
- Early Pregnancy Scan (from 6 weeks): Designed to confirm a viable pregnancy, detect a heartbeat, and estimate a due date. Ideal for peace of mind in the early weeks.
- Dating Scan (around 11–14 weeks): Helps establish gestational age and check for multiple pregnancies, providing clarity at the start of antenatal care.
- Gender Scan: Conducted mid-pregnancy, this scan checks key anatomical structures and can reveal your baby’s gender (or we can keep this a secret for your gender reveal!)
- 4D and Growth Scan: Later in pregnancy, this scan offers a detailed view of your baby’s face and movements, along with reassurance on growth and positioning.
- Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT): A screening option from 10 weeks that can assess the risk of certain chromosomal conditions. Offered with or without a scan, depending on the package.
Each scan includes a medical report and printed images, with optional upgrades for additional media or digital copies.
A calm, personal experience
Unlike larger clinics or hospital settings, Yorkshire Baby Scan offers a relaxed environment where appointments are never rushed. Partners, family members or close friends are welcome to attend, and scan rooms are equipped with screens for a shared viewing experience. The focus is always on providing medically reliable information with sensitivity and care.
